Kitchen
Mid City Cleanings’ Basic Clean package for your kitchen ensures a thorough and efficient clean to keep your space looking and feeling fresh. This package includes:
- Clean Countertops: Wiping down all surfaces to remove crumbs and spills.
- Clean Sink: Scrubbing and disinfecting the sink area for a sparkling finish.
- Clean Stovetop: Removing grease and grime from the stovetop.
- Microwave (Inside and Out): Cleaning both the interior and exterior of the microwave for a spotless appearance.
- Wipe Outside of Fridge, Oven, and Dishwasher: Dusting and wiping the exterior surfaces of these major appliances.
- Spot Clean Cabinet Faces: Addressing visible stains and smudges on cabinet faces.
- Wipe Baseboards: Lightly wiping baseboards to remove dust and dirt (no scrubbing involved).

Mid City Cleanings’ Basic Clean package for all rooms provides a comprehensive and efficient clean to maintain a fresh and welcoming home. This package includes:
- General Dusting (Including Fans): Dusting all surfaces, including ceiling fans, to remove dust and allergens.
- Light Organization: Tidying up and arranging items to create a neat and orderly space.
- Trash Removal: Emptying trash cans and replacing liners to keep rooms clean and clutter-free.
- Vacuum/Sweep: Vacuuming carpets and sweeping hard floors to remove dirt and debris.
- Mopping: Mopping hard floors for a polished and spotless finish.
- Window Sills: Wiping down window sills to remove dust and grime.
Our Basic Clean package ensures that every room is clean, organized, and inviting, providing a refreshing and comfortable living environment.
Service A la carte tasks
Mid City Cleaning offers a range of a la carte extras to enhance your cleaning experience, allowing you to tailor services to meet your specific needs. Here are some of the options available:
- Oven Scrubbing: $25-40 (price varies based on buildup)
- Refrigerator Scrub/Clean Out: $30-70 (price varies based on buildup)
- Carpet Washing: $0.25/sq ft (using a Bissell machine)
- Floor Scrubbing: $0.10/sq ft (ideal for brick floors)
- Sweep/Clean Porch/Patio: $20/per area
- Wet Wipe Blinds (Slat for Slat): $8/per (Note: Mini blinds not included)
- Dusting Blinds (Not Slat for Slat): $3/per
- Interior Windows: $4/each
- Exterior Windows: $8/each
- Washing, Drying, and Refilling Pet Bowls: $10/set
These extras allow you to customize your cleaning package, addressing specific needs and ensuring every detail of your home is thoroughly cared for.
Mid City Cleaning outlines the following services as outside their scope of work
- Filling or Emptying a Dishwasher: We do not handle dishwashers in terms of loading or unloading.
- Washing Dishes: Dishwashing is not included in our services.
- Laundry of Any Kind: We do not perform laundry tasks.
- Hardwood Floor Refinishing: Refinishing hardwood floors is not part of our cleaning services.
- Steam Carpet Cleaning: Steam cleaning carpets is not offered.
- Moving Furniture: We do not move furniture as part of our cleaning services.
- Moving Boxes or Similarly Sized Items: Handling and moving boxes or large items is not included.
- Cleaning Anything on the Outside of the Home: Exterior cleaning is limited to first-story windows only.
- Cleaning Electronic Equipment with Any Type of Fluid: We do not clean electronics such as televisions, computers, or tablets with fluids.
- Cleaning Musical Equipment: We do not clean musical instruments such as guitars, drums, or horns.
- Cleaning Above a Reach of a 2-Rung Step-Ladder: We do not clean areas that require more than a 2-rung step-ladder.
- Cleaning of Animal or Human Waste: We do not handle cleaning of biological waste such as blood, urine, feces, or litter due to required certifications.
These limitations ensure we focus on providing high-quality cleaning services within our expertise and capabilities.
